QUARANTINE DIARIES
Looking to find out what I've been up to since graduating during a global pandemic? Well, look no further.
Here are a few of the things I've been doing to pass the time. Spoiler: it is not (just) watching Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix.
Keeping track of website work, application work, school work, and work work got to be crazy enough that I had to build myself a backlog on the wall by my desk.
My boyfriend lost his keys, so I made him an organizer over Fourth of July weekend to prevent a repeat incident. It's inspired by an envelope, and is made of scrap materials.
My parents have taken full advantage of my newfound free time: I have been a design consultant/laborer on a porch swing we built for my grandparents and a new landscape installation at my parents' house. Up next is helping my dad turn some giant blocks of cork into accurate canvasback duck decoys.
I cleaned out my parents' pantry, and found a ridiculous abundance of koozies. I applied my packaging design skills and made this very effective dispenser.
I'm now working as a landscaper, and I needed a hat to wear to work. So I ordered an online kit and learned how to crochet with raffia. (The weed whacker string reinforcing the brim was my addition.)
There are too many to talk about here, but subjects include: AI, creating healthy team/company cultures, dystopian fiction, philosophy, and more.
